Environmental and Energy Policy

As CEMAK Electricty Inc., we practice by forming a policy of a corporate environmental and energy policy with the aim of leaving a viable environment to the next generations within the scope of "sustainable development" without endangering the existence and quality of current resources in our activity areas. In this scope, in the basics of principals including the protection and development of the determined environment and energy management process, there is respectfulness to humans, the environment, and society.

Within the scope of our environment and energy policy, we aim to;

• Comply with the national and international legislation and laws, regulations and compulsory standards;

• Carry out activities for meeting the obligations in Turkish Environmental Legislation to provide environment-friendly management and prevent to disturb natural balance;

• Plan and apply precautions to minimize negative environmental effects in any case of accident or emergency during our activities;

• Prevent environmental pollution and develop environmental performance consistently by following scientific researches and technological developments;

• Keep environmental impacts of our waste under control, reduce it in its source or recycle, remove or make remove our nonrecoverable wastes without damaging the environment;

• Research, apply and maintain methods of reducing greenhouse gas emission;

• Communicate effectively with customers and shareholders to create shared value and useful results on energy management related topics;

• Take an active role in providing required sources on subjects of increasing energy efficiency and sustainability and create awareness of energy throughout the foundation on processes of production, transmission, distribution, and consumption of energy,  

• Guarantee to make choices suitable for efficiency on buying the energy-efficient product, equipment and service and on designing with the aim of improvement of the performance of energy,

• Raise awareness of the sense of environmental responsibility of our employees at any level by providing training on the environment and energy to the staff in the structure of our company.
